I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming British colonial villa nestled in the hills of Sri Lanka. the villa, only two years old, was beautifully clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. the chef prepared delicious Sri Lankan dishes, with the eggplant being a standout. the bathrooms were great, and the living room, dining room, and balcony provided the perfect spaces to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. the villa's proximity to Bandarawela station made it convenient for exploring the area.
While the villa itself was exceptional, I found the internet connection to be intermittent at times. the staff assured me that they were working on improving it.

We found a lovely spot up in the mountains with stunning views and comfortable rooms. the hospitality was great; staff was welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. the atmosphere was relaxing, and we enjoyed indoor and outdoor spaces. Food was superb, with a mix of local and international flavors. Special mention to the private chef and the high-quality fittings in the rooms.
The location may not be for everyone, as it's not in a busy area and requires some transportation arrangements. Wi-Fi was sometimes spotty, but we made it work.

The location is great for a peaceful escape from the busy city. The staff is very attentive and able to accommodate various requests from the guests. The villa is well-maintained and offers comfortable and clean rooms. The food is delicious and offers a mix of local and international options. The villa is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a serene and tranquil atmosphere.
The villa may not be suitable for families with younger children as there is not much to keep them entertained. The villa is located away from prominent landmarks, requiring coordination and logistics to visit places.
